Autumn Dryness

Lung Dryness and Large Intestine Dryness is not fun. It is a common dis-harmony in Autumn.

Common dis-harmonies of the lung and large intestines are respiratory conditions, poor immunity, skin disorders: psoriasis, eczema and dry skin, sinus infections, allergies, asthma or constipation.

Prevent this in Autumn and pay more attention to wearing appropriate clothing, moisturising your skin and eating less dry foods and more warm and wet foods. Disclaimer - what diet is best for you is for you to explore. Here are some things I am going to be trying.

Mainly...

Staying warm. Eat warm food. Stay hydrated. Wear a scarf and layers under your clothes. Oil my skin daily. Skin brushing. Priortising sleep. Moving my lungs with some gentle exercise. And yoga.

Teas
ginger and lemon, ginger and lemon grass.

Foods...

Breakfast...

A sweet potato porridge may be a great start to the day. I'm going to try this recipe today minus the Stevia.

Lunch - a mild curry with onions, garlic and ginger and white vegetables and add some seaweed and protein of your choice also white.

Dinner - warm miso soup with vegies and protein.

Avoid Dryness and enjoy the mystical beauty of Autumn.
